Courtbee Platform Terms of Use
Effective from October 20, 2026
1. The operator and how to reach us
The Courtbee platform is operated by AI Land s. r. o., company ID 57673136, with its registered office at Opatovská cesta 14, 040 01 Košice – mestská časť Vyšné Opátske, registered in the Obchodný register Mestského súdu Košice, oddiel: Sro, vložka č. 66265/V (referred to below as “Courtbee” or “we”).
For questions about using the platform, technical problems and complaints, write to us at hello@courtbee.com.
Questions about personal data protection and requests to delete an account go to privacy@courtbee.com.
2. What Courtbee provides
Courtbee is an online platform through which sports venues manage their courts, reservations, training and open classes. It lets players book a court, sign up for available classes and manage their own reservations and details.
Which features are available may differ by venue, by its settings and by the user's permissions.
These terms govern the relationship between Courtbee and players using the platform. The relationship between Courtbee and the sports venues is governed by separate contracts.
3. Using the platform and the sports services
Using Courtbee involves two separate contractual relationships:
- The contract for the use of the platform, which you conclude with Courtbee. Using the platform is free of charge for players.
- The contract for the sports service, which you conclude with the operator of the venue concerned when you make a reservation. Its subject may be the hire of a court, training, or participation in an open class.
The provider of the sports service is the venue operator identified with that offering. It sets the price of the service, the access rules, the operating conditions and the cancellation terms, in accordance with the law. Its identification and contact details must be available to you before you make a reservation.
Courtbee provides the technical environment for creating and managing reservations. We do not hire out courts, we do not provide training, and we do not receive the price for sports services.
The contract for the use of the platform comes about on registration, by accepting these terms. If a venue creates an account for you, you accept the terms when you activate it. You have the opportunity to read them before accepting.
4. Registration and your account
When you register you provide an e-mail address, a password, your first and last name, phone number, age and skill level. Any further details are optional where they are marked as such.
The details you provide must be true and current. If they change, update them in your account or ask for a correction where you cannot edit the item yourself.
The platform can hold records for players from the age of 5. The account of a person under 16 is created and managed by their parent or other legal guardian. Minors may act on their own only in legal acts appropriate to their age and to their intellectual and volitional maturity. For anything else the legal guardian acts, or their consent is required, in accordance with the law.
An account is personal. Do not transfer it to another person and do not use someone else's identity.
Protect your password and access credentials. If you suspect your account has been misused, change your password without delay and contact us at hello@courtbee.com. Responsibility for acts carried out through an account is assessed according to the circumstances and the applicable law.
A venue manager may add you as one of its members. In that case you receive an invitation at the e-mail address the venue provided. The venue creating that record does not by itself mean you have accepted these terms.
5. Booking a court
When creating a reservation you select the venue, the court, the date, the start time and how long you want to play. The platform shows the times available according to opening hours, breaks and existing reservations.
Before you confirm, the price and the applicable service conditions are shown to you.
The reservation comes about the moment the platform successfully saves it and shows it as created. That moment is when the contract for the sports service between you and the venue operator comes about.
We also send the confirmation by e-mail. If no e-mail arrives, check the state of the reservation in your account. The e-mail not arriving does not by itself mean the reservation was not made.
If another user successfully books the same slot first, your reservation is not created and the platform tells you so.
The venue may cancel a reservation for operational reasons, in particular adverse weather, a fault, necessary maintenance or another obstacle to providing the service. It will inform you through the platform or using your contact details. A refund of any price already paid is settled by the venue under the agreed conditions and the law.
6. Cancelling a court reservation
You can cancel a court reservation yourself through the platform up to 24 hours before it starts. This window is set by the venue and may differ between venues.
After that window has passed, ask the venue to cancel it directly. Its contact details are on the venue's own page.
If you paid for the reservation online and cancel it within this period, the venue refunds the price you paid to the card you paid with, through the platform, minus a cancellation fee. The venue sets the cancellation fee and may change it; the amount shown when you made your reservation applies to it. You see the cancellation fee when you make a reservation. If the price you paid is lower than the cancellation fee, nothing is refunded and you pay nothing extra. We show you the cancellation fee and the refunded amount before you confirm the cancellation, and in the refund e-mail.
If the venue cancels the reservation, it refunds the full price with no cancellation fee.
For a reservation paid by bank transfer or on site, the venue handles any refund with you directly.
Cancelling a reservation in the platform does not by itself determine whether a refund is due or how much. Financial claims are assessed according to the conditions accepted at the time of booking and the applicable law.
A cancelled reservation cannot be restored. If you still want that slot, make a new reservation while it is available.
7. Training and open classes
Open classes have limited capacity. You can sign up while a place is free and sign-up is available.
The deadline for withdrawing is set by the venue. The specific deadline is shown on the class. After it has passed, withdrawing through the platform may no longer be possible; contact the venue in that case.
When you leave a paid open class within the sign-off period, the same cancellation fee applies as when cancelling a court reservation.
The coach or the venue may cancel a class or change its time. You will be informed through the platform or using your contact details. Any refund or replacement date is settled by the service provider in accordance with the agreed conditions and the law.
Attendance, membership of training groups and the verification of skill levels are managed by the venue. A skill level verified by a coach cannot be changed by you. If the record is wrong, ask the venue to correct it.
8. Prices and payment
Prices for sports services are set by the venue. They may differ by court, day, time and type of service.
Before you make a reservation, the final price in euro is shown, including the applicable taxes and mandatory charges.
You pay the venue in the way shown with the reservation: online by card (including Apple Pay or Google Pay), by bank transfer with the assigned variable symbol, or on site. Online payments are processed by the payment service Stripe and the money goes directly to the venue's account. Courtbee does not receive these payments.
The payment status is recorded and confirmed by the venue. What the platform displays is not a bank's confirmation that a payment was made.
The invoice, receipt or other proof of payment is issued by the provider of the sports service.
Using the platform is free of charge for players. Venues pay for Courtbee's services under separate contracts.
If we make paid features available to players in future, we will tell you their price and conditions before you order them. An obligation to pay arises only once you accept the offer concerned.
9. Withdrawal from the contract
You can end the contract for the use of the platform at any time and without giving a reason, by requesting deletion of your account under section 13. This does not affect your statutory rights.
For a sports service booked for a precisely agreed time, the exception to the consumer's 14-day right of withdrawal under § 19(1)(l) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection applies.
Cancelling such a reservation is governed by the rules in these terms and in the terms of the venue concerned. This exception does not limit your rights where the service was not provided or was defective.
10. Complaints and disputes
Complaints about sports services are to be made directly to the provider of the service. This covers a court that was not ready, training that did not take place, a price charged incorrectly or any other problem with the provision of the sports service.
Technical problems and complaints about Courtbee's own services go to hello@courtbee.com. Please state the e-mail address of your account, a description of the problem and, where relevant, the venue and the date and time of the reservation.
We will confirm receipt of the complaint and tell you how it will proceed. We will answer within 30 days of receiving it. Where the law requires a shorter period or further obligations, we follow the law. This period does not limit your statutory rights arising from liability for defects.
If, as a consumer, you are not satisfied with how we handled a complaint about our service, you can send us a request to put it right. If we reject it or do not answer within 30 days, you may, under the conditions of Act No. 391/2015 Coll., apply for alternative resolution of the consumer dispute to the competent body — the Slovak Trade Inspection, for example.
In a dispute concerning a sports service, address the complaint and the request for redress to its provider.
The supervisory authority for consumer protection, within its remit, is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia). The competent regional inspectorate is:
Inšpektorát SOI pre Košický kraj Vrátna 3, P. O. BOX A-35 040 65 Košice 1
Current contact details and information are available at www.soi.sk.
11. Rules for using the platform
Use the platform in accordance with the law, with these terms and with the rules of the venue concerned.
The following are prohibited in particular:
- creating fictitious reservations or deliberately blocking capacity from other players;
- providing untrue details or using someone else's identity;
- accessing the accounts, data or features of other users or venues without authorisation;
- circumventing security measures or access permissions;
- harvesting data automatically without authorisation, or placing an unreasonable load on the platform;
- interfering with how the platform works, or using it for fraudulent or otherwise unlawful conduct.
If these rules are broken, we may take the measures set out in section 13.
12. Availability and liability
We operate and maintain the platform with reasonable professional care. Uninterrupted availability cannot, however, be guaranteed. Technical outages, maintenance or updates may occur.
We will tell you in advance about a planned material restriction where that is possible.
Responsibility for providing the sports service lies with its provider. This covers in particular the condition and equipment of the court, the organisation of training, keeping to the agreed time, and obligations relating to the safety of the sports operation.
The venue is responsible for the content and accuracy of the data it supplies, to the extent the law provides. We are responsible for performing our own obligations in operating the platform.
Liability for damage is assessed according to the applicable law and the circumstances of the individual case. No provision of these terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot be excluded or limited under the law.
13. Duration of the contract and deletion of an account
The contract for the use of the platform lasts for as long as your account exists.
You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time at privacy@courtbee.com. Send the request from the e-mail address held on the account. If you cannot access it, contact us and we will agree a reasonable way of verifying your identity.
We may restrict, temporarily suspend or delete an account or selected features of it if you materially or repeatedly break these terms, use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful conduct, or if the law requires us to do so.
We choose a measure proportionate to the seriousness and consequences of the breach. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you room to put it right. In the case of a serious breach or an immediate threat, we may act without prior warning.
We will inform you of the reason for and the extent of the measure, unless the law or the protection of the safety and rights of others prevents it. If you disagree with the measure, you can ask for it to be reviewed at hello@courtbee.com.
Deleting an account does not extinguish obligations already owed to a venue, nor your statutory claims. Deleting an account does not by itself replace cancelling a reservation under the venue's rules.
If a venue stops working with Courtbee, its services may stop being available in the platform. Your account is not automatically affected.
14. Personal data
Information about what personal data we process, for what purposes, on what legal bases, how long we keep it and what rights you have is in the privacy policy.
For some activities we process data on behalf of a venue and on its instructions. The privacy policy explains how the roles are divided between Courtbee and the venue, and who you can turn to.
Accepting these terms is not consent to receiving marketing messages, nor general consent to the processing of personal data.
After an account is deleted, some data may continue to be kept where that is necessary to meet a legal obligation or for another legitimate purpose set out in the privacy policy.
15. Changes to the terms and to features
We may make reasonable changes to the terms and to the platform's features, in particular because of changes in the law, security requirements, technical developments or the introduction of new services.
We will publish the new wording of the terms with an effective date. For a material change we will inform you by e-mail at least 15 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires a longer period or a particular procedure.
If you do not agree with a change, you can end the contract for the use of the platform free of charge before it takes effect. This does not affect any other rights the law gives you.
Reservations made before a change remain governed by the terms accepted when they were made.
Where specific statutory rules on digital performance apply to a change in the service, we will follow them, including the related information obligations and the right of withdrawal. A change to the terms does not replace your express consent where the law requires it.
16. Final provisions
The contractual relationship between you and Courtbee is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. This does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory rules of the law of their country of habitual residence.
Jurisdiction is determined by the applicable law, including the specific rules on consumer protection.
If any provision of these terms becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force in so far as they can stand on their own.
We communicate with you using the e-mail address held on your account or through notices in the platform. Where the law requires information to be provided on a durable medium, we will use e-mail or another suitable means.
These terms take effect on October 20, 2026.
